About Myesha Reynolds AMFT

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. As a therapist, I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families, meeting each person where they are with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I view therapy as a collaborative process that honors your unique experiences while creating opportunities for healing, growth, and deeper connection.

I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. Whether you’re working through anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or healing from past experiences, I strive to help you build lasting change that feels authentic and meaningful. I believe healing is about more than reducing symptoms, it’s about creating a life that reflects who you are, what matters most to you, and the relationships you want to strengthen and cultivate. My hope is that our work together helps you experience greater emotional well-being, stronger connections, and a deeper sense of purpose.

My personal philosophy is captured in one simple quote:

“Live on purpose and create the life you want.”

This belief guides both my life and my work, reminding me that meaningful change begins with intentional choices, self-compassion, and the courage to grow.

My Therapeutic Approach

I take an evidence-based, holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that emotional well-being is influenced by many interconnected aspects of our lives. Together, we’ll explore not only thoughts and emotions but also your relationships, nervous system, personal values, and life experiences. By integrating proven therapeutic methods with a whole-person perspective, therapy becomes a collaborative process focused on sustainable healing and growth.

My work is grounded in Attachment Theory while incorporating Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches help us understand how early relationships shape current patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop greater compassion for the different parts of yourself. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that may no longer serve you and build new ways of relating, to yourself and to those you care about.

Why Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems?

I believe that the relationship we have with ourselves lays the foundation for the relationships we have with others. Through Attachment Theory and IFS, I help clients develop a more secure relationship with their internal world by understanding and caring for the different parts of themselves. As your internal system becomes more connected and secure, you’re better able to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships with the people around you. This work creates opportunities for greater confidence, deeper connection, and a more satisfying life.

Your Therapy Journey with me

I understand that every client’s story is unique, and therapy should reflect that. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that honors your experiences, goals, strengths, and pace. Whether you’re seeking healing, personal growth, or healthier relationships, our work will be tailored to your individual needs while drawing from evidence-based approaches that best support your journey.

As your therapist, my commitment is to provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported. Clients often describe me as warm, collaborative, compassionate, and engaged. I believe therapy works best when we build a trusting relationship together, one where you feel encouraged to be authentic while also feeling challenged to grow. My role isn’t to tell you who to become, but to help you discover the strengths, resilience, and wisdom that already exist within you.
