Therapist
Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage.
While starting therapy can feel overwhelming, my goal is to make you feel safe, heard, and understood. As a First-Generation Vietnamese-American, I always strive to stay informed and provide culturally competent care, attuning to the way culture, language, background, and systems of oppression and privilege shape and influence the way we view & navigate the world, both in and out of therapy.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in sociology from UC Santa Barbara and my Master of Social Work from USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. My education and career have always focused on my passion for social racial justice and serving the needs of marginalized youth, individuals, families, and oppressed communities
I have over 10 years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients. I believe that therapy is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest care without judgment, and I work alongside my clients in clarifying and supporting them to reach their goals. As a therapist, I am warm, open, and encouraging. Using my experience, education, creativity, and my light-hearted sense of humor, I provide a compassionate and realistic approach to therapy.
Lastly, I am a firm believer that change happens when we are given guidance to help draw on our innate strengths and elevate our unique individual qualities so that we can exist as our truest selves.
I look forward to working with you in this process of self-discovery.
