What makes our vocal academy different is the integration of emotional, cognitive, and creative skill-building into the learning process for children and teens in Santa Monica.
Through the Creative Processing Model, students are gently introduced to:
This is how confidence becomes internalized, self-awareness becomes embodied, and creative expression becomes second nature. Students learn how to express their feelings through singing and creative outlets, building healthier and more confident ways of navigating emotions.
To start our singing lessons, students choose a song they love from their favorite artist. We don’t just teach kids how to sing a song. We teach them how to feel confident, connected, and embodied while singing it. This keeps them:
We use that song as the foundation for real skill-building.
As students grow, lessons expand with them. From there, students can optionally work on Other songs Of their choosing, learning basic chords and accompaniment, or even learning to write songs in the style Of their favorite artist. This creates a natural progression from singing to expressing to
creating.
For students ready to go deeper into creativity, we offer Seed-to-Song Workshops, a structured, supportive introduction to songwriting.
Located in Santa Monica, these workshops are designed to make songwriting feel
1. Approachable 2. Intuitive 3. Pressure-free
Even for kids who have never written a song before.
Students are guided through simple but powerful exercises:

By the end, students don’t just learn about songwriting, they leave with the beginning of a song and voice that is uniquely theirs.
Consistent weekly sessions provide the strongest results and allow students to build confidence, skill, and creative momentum over time. We can also accommodate siblings who may want to attend together.
