Kalina Klamann, PsyD, LMFT
Pain is an inevitable part of life, but suffering is what we create ourselves.
With nearly 20 years of experience, I employ an integrative approach, tailored to suit each client’s individual needs. Rather than limit ourselves to one method, I prefer to take the best from various traditions. Relational Gestalt therapy, CBT, clinical hypnotherapy, narrative therapy, harm reduction, and many other approaches and techniques can be utilized to work most effectively through the particular issues you are struggling with.
How I Work
For those dealing with addictions, along with traditional approaches, I offer alternatives to 12-step programs or total abstinence. A similar approach applies to self-harm behaviors and other maladaptive habits and behaviors. I prefer to emphasize attainable goals and incremental progress, where every effort toward health and well-being is recognized and strengthened.
