About Kevin

Do not let what you can not do interfere with what you can do.

Over the last 7 years I’ve worked with hundreds of clients from all walks of life and every point on the spectrum of mental health – from struggling to get out of depressed and anxious states to peak-performing athletes at the top of their game. What they all have in common is the desire to get better and the willingness to show up for themselves every day.

Growing up as an extreme sports athlete I never cared about winning or losing, what was more important was pushing the limits of my own performance. I was surrounded by people with widely different skill sets and creative expressions but they all shared that same desire, to get better no matter how “good” they were to start with. I view mental health and performance in that same paradigm – by striving to make incremental progress in any moment, we can become better today than we were yesterday, and that’s what really matters.

I have seen time and time again, transformation is possible, symptoms can diminish, a diagnosis can remain in the past, your goals can and will be achieved. No matter how you feel today and what patterns of behavior you are stuck in, I firmly believe that you can transform the parts of you that are holding you back, you can break free from dysfunctional habits and you can become the best version of yourself.

HOW I WORK

My mental performance training is rooted in the science of neurofeedback. Based on decades of clinical research, our neurofeedback program is able to measure and convert your brainwaves into audio and visual feedback so your brain can learn and improve on itself.

In as few as 20 sessions, you can retrain your brain to self regulate and learn on a subconscious level what it is doing when it is performing its best and in the flow state versus what is happening when it is in a suboptimal state and you’re experiencing symptoms like anxiety, ADHD, panic, and depression.

After your free assessment, we’ll identify your growth areas and create a custom brain map for your training. One of the best parts of our neurofeedback training program is that it can all be done remotely and on your time. This allows you to have sessions when it fits best into your already busy schedule without having to sit in traffic. Each session is typically under an hour and we ask that you do a minimum of 2 sessions per week.

Neurofeedback is a great standalone program because it bypasses the mind and trains the brain directly. It is also a phenomenal supplement to the therapies you’re already receiving through My LA Therapy, as it can allow you to go deeper with your therapist because you will be able to access thoughts and memories with better clarity and focus and less emotional reactivity.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about neurofeedback training and my program to see if we are a good fit.
